    Default SGTLS - Desired New Features & Bug Fixes Discussion

    Seeing how Stargate: The Last Stand was just released and is still in beta I figured we should start up a thread specifically for input from the [AE] community members that play SGTLS to post issues or suggestions the have for improvement to the mod.

    All items mentioned on this thread will be presented either verbally to the devs via IRC or posted in the official SGTLS forums.

    Please only post specific information in regards to issues you have come across or suggestions for improvement of the mod.

    If you want to discuss with other members of this forum a particular issue/feature or recommendation then create a new thread for it specifically asking for input on it.

    1) Have the server not display the gibs/blood when you shoot team mates unless maybe friendly fire is enabled.

    2) Make it where you can't walk through your teammates or at least hinder the ability to see them partially while walking through them.

    3) Map/Code related? Make it where all instances of fire hurt the player.

    4) Fix the bug that occurs when you re-spawn with no weapons, only the knife or without the ability to see the weapons you have selected.

    5) Fix the issue with C4 that crashes the server when it is shot by the opposing team.

    6) Give server admins the ability to adjust the re-spawn times manually using a CVAR via the server.cfg

    7) Display a meter on the hud for to show how much sprint you have used or have available left to use.

    8) Fix spectator mode to where it works correctly and players can rejoin the game from spec mode.

    9) Fix the issue with players being able to go into spec mode while waiting to respond due to hitting a movement button.

    10) Fix the mods display name notification that is shown through steam while the player is in game

    11) Fix the issue that occurs when a player is killed and they re-spawn where they where killed instead of a the normal re-spawn area(s).

    12) Build into the mod automatic team balancing if the teams are out of balance more then two players.

    13) Fix the issue where hl2.exe hangs and goes unresponding after exiting the mod.

    14) Fix the issue with all the players client side crashing at once (which requires a hard reboot/reset from the client's system) which also crashes the server.

    15) Fix the ability to stand on top of the ring transporter, as well as planting a tac mid air through the rings (Submitted by 999)

    16) Fix the model Zat where the draw sound is not play, also fix the speed of the draw to match to time it actually takes to draw (Submitted by 999)

    17) Fix the ability to zat/ staff weapon/ kull weapon a kullwarrior (Submitted by 999)
