1) We are expecting several new objective style map to be released in the next few weeks for beta testing and for several of the other beta version maps currently in our servers rotation to be updated as well.
2) The servers map rotation has been modified to run mostly objective style maps. Eventually as new objective style maps final versions are released the Death match style play maps will be completely fazed out of the rotation (there is only three in the rotation currently).
3) There has been further exploits within the mod that have been discovered and being used by players on our server. Players using the exploits that have been reported or observed using hem have been permanently banned. Due to the exploits we have added a plug specifically made for the mod to protect the exploits from being utilized.
4) Valve still hasn't fixed a bug with the gaming platform which was announced last month. This bug will go unnamed for obvious reasons but basically it enables anyone who knows about it to crash the server with very little effort. Thanks Valve! :mad:
5) Server activity is still on the rise and we are getting more regular US based players.
Please try and remember to come play on our designated playing night if you can which are Monday & Thursday evenings to try and help stimulate more server activity during the week days.
6) The IW forums crashed last week due to a massive hardware failure which also made all the backups inaccessible. Thus a new forum platform was released and is now ready to be utilized. Unfortunately all of the data/posts on the old forums was lost though :eek:
7) Our SGTLS downloads section has been referred to as "the number one resource for SGTLS files"! I have stepped up to the plate for the mod and now maintain the official map/downloads thread on the IW forums.
8) Our server will be coming up for renewal in the near future. If you happen to have a few extra buck and enjoy playing on our server please help out by contributing to it's costs by making a one time donation here (http://www.gameservers.com/clanpay/?clanid=1ae7681dac88be06a41d4125ea44d9d9).
