With the release of 2.4 Nearing and the current hanging issues we are having with the FF server I'm Relocating it to LA and having a complete wipe done. This means I'm not going to put all the gunzillion maps I had back on there. No beta maps unless made by a clan member only Good quality finals.

Sounds great to me! I have updated the server information thread to note the IP and location changes.

Now I just got to remember to update my system at home with all the respective changes.

I'm looking forward to the 2.4 release and now will actually be able to play on it since it's at a closer data center.

Well zippy, there aint much i can add, i hardly ever play if at all.. I would say that i like the server the way it is/was. But, as previously stated. i dont play much, if at all..so, as far as im concerned, if thats waht you want to do. Do it.

I know I'm still nooby FF wise but... what's wrong with CTF maps? I like Avanti/Dustbowl style but why you guys hating on Aardvark, Well and 2Fort?

Not hating on them I love playing them when I want to just dick around. Mainly ctf maps just end up being Death match with a goal in pub play. They still will be on the server and admins can change to but rotation I'm thinking AvD to start. we have quite a few new maps coming that are that style.

Yeah I see your point Zip, CTF in pub play is mostly half the people running around trying to get kills. This may be off topic but do you think AE will play competitively after 2.4? I haven't played a serious/organized CTF game yet >_<

I'm just itching for a clan-match :D

So long as we keep that massive list of maps actually on the server so admins can bring them up, I don't particularly care about the rotation. It's fun to play Flag4Sky every now and again. ^.^

Oh yeah, set up Nerks with sm_admin on our FF server since he plays that game now too.

What list of maps? I did a fresh install with the server move for performance issues. Now the only maps will be finals as I upload them to server.
