View Full Version : KF server usage on the rise!

Over the last week I have observed the servers usage steadily increasing :cool:

If you see only a few people in the server or that it's empty please help and 'seed' the server by going into it and messing around on it until more people join.

By doing this the server will become more popular and be utilized a lot more!

Now go play some KF!

Just wanted to update this thread to state that the server is continuing to be utilized more often which is a very good thing!

I don't see our KF division members on it to much but it is getting used more.

Keep up the work with 'seeding' the server whenever you can and eventually it will get well known enough that it's always got players on it during normal gaming times.

Nerkles is usually on it really late at night. I'm typically on in the later hours as well. You're probably asleep because you have work in the morning and can't do an 8 hour shift with 3 hours sleep like I can. :p

Ya but you do that once then go awol for two weeks sleeping to catch up on 5 hours missed.:confused:

On a good week I average 6 hours of sleep a day. Having two jobs, a family, and numerous online commitments makes for being very busy.

Not to mention we are old farts and don't have the same ability to function without some sleep.

When I was your age I survived on 2-3 hours of sleep a night.

Your dong is AWOL.

We're climbing back up through the rankings (we gained 3 percentile points over the weekend).

Being down for 3 days to get the server to work (my fault, pretty much -.-) tanked our ranking from 77th down to the high 100s.

It's going to be hard to get close to the top (even though our server is doing pretty well) because there are 30 man hacked servers listed in the GS rankings, and the popularity is skewed towards them.

Yeah the top server is pretty much evil as it gives everyone instant lvl 5 perks and has a 30 player capacity.

Playing on such a server doesn't lvl your perks but gives everyone lvl 5 perks, so players get used to lvl 5 perks and wont be bothered playing normal servers to actually lvl up.

We can't compete directly against such servers and the highest rank we could realistically achieve would be somewhere in the top 30.

Some good news, we have had a couple full games with only AE members! Recruiting is going really well, I didn't realize how fast recruitment would go up, this is mainly due to friends of recent recruits being apt to join.
